The 16th biennial Meeting of the Ottawa Group is being hosted by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).

The meeting will take place at the FGV Headquarters in Rio de Janeiro on May, 8-10 2019 and will be preceded by the lecture "Quality Adjustment and Hedonics: A unified approach" by Prof. Erwin Diewert on May, 7 2019.

The Ottawa Group provides a forum for specialists and practitioners who work for, or are advisors to, national statistics agencies or international organizations  to exchange their experiences and thoughts on crucial problems of measuring price change. The group´s strenght is based on its professional authority, independence, and usefulness to nacional and internacional statistical agencies.
