The Summer School on Game Theory and Applications aims to provide advanced and intensive training in Game Theory and related areas, bringing together advanced undergraduate students, graduate students, and early-career researchers. The event will cover both theoretical foundations and modern applications, including repeated games, machine learning in games, nonatomic games, congestion games, and interactive information. The program will feature a series of short courses delivered by internationally renowned researchers, covering topics ranging from the fundamentals to the frontiers of research in Game Theory, Learning and applications:

• Sylvain Sorin (Sorbonne University): Introduction to Game Theory — Basic Concepts and Properties.

• Jérôme Renault (University of Toulouse): Topics on Repeated Games.

• Vianney Perchet (ENSAE & Criteo AI Lab): Learning.

• Marco Scarsini (Luiss University): Nonatomic Games and Congestion.

• Nicolas Vieille (HEC Paris): Interactive Information.

The initiative aims to strengthen the training of highly qualified researchers, foster scientific collaborations, and consolidate the field within the national research community. In addition to the short courses, the program will include lectures focused on recent advances, future research directions, and applications to industrial problems. A central theme will be real-world decision-making, with a strategic perspective on electricity markets.

The event has been designed as a meeting point for faculty members, researchers, and students. We expect participants from FGV EMAp and FGV EPGE, as well as colleagues from neighboring institutions such as IMPA, UFF, UFRJ, and PUC-Rio. It is also of utmost importance that the event be widely advertised and open to students from all regions of Brazil, while also welcoming Chilean students, particularly from the University of Chile, thereby promoting a vibrant and multicultural scientific exchange.
