Evandro Menezes de Carvalho: Doctor in International Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), Master in Latin American Integration from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) and Bachelor of Laws from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). In addition to being coordinator of the Center for Brazil-China Studies and a professor at FGV Direito Rio, he works as editor-in-chief at the magazine China Today (Brazil), consultant at the China Desk of Veirano Law Firm and adjunct professor at the Faculty of Law of the Fluminense Federal University (UFF).

Yang Wanming: Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Brazil. Born in Beijing in March 1964, he holds a Master's degree in Economics and a PhD in Law. Between 1990 and 1993 he was Attaché and Third Secretary of the Latin America and Caribbean Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the People's Republic of China. In the period 1993-1995 he was Third Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Argentina. From 1995 to 2001 he was Third Secretary, Second Secretary, Deputy Head of Division and Head of Division of the Latin America and Caribbean Department of the MFA. Between 2001 and 2003 he was Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Mexico, and from 2003 to 2004 he was Vice-Mayor of Kaili County of Guizhou Province. In the period 2004-2007 he became Counselor, Deputy Director General of the Department for Latin America and the Caribbean of the MFA. Between 2007 and 2012, in turn, he was Director General of the Department of Latin America and the Caribbean of the MFA. In the period 2012-2014 he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Chile, and from 2014 to 2018 he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China in Argentina. Since December 2018, he has been Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Brazil. He is married and has a son.
Sérgio Guerra: Visiting Researcher (Yale Law School), with Post-Doctorate in Public Administration. Doctor and Master in Law. Director and Full Professor at School of Law of the Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro (FGV Direito Rio). Ambassador in Brazil at Yale University. Editor of Revista de Direito Administrativo - RDA. Coordinator of the International Business Law Course, University of California (Irvine). Consultant to the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) in the Special Commission for Works, Concessions and Control of Public Administration. Legal Consultant at OAB/Rio de Janeiro at the Public Law Commission. Member of the State Coordination of Brazil-China Relations at OAB/Rio de Janeiro.
Eduardo Paes: Graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), with a specialization in Public Policy and Government from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Eduardo Paes is in his third term as Mayor of Rio de Janeiro (2008-2016 and 2021-2024). Former city councilor, former federal congress representative, he chaired the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group from 2008 to 2016.
Camila Mendes Vianna Cardoso: Senior Partner at Kincaid | Mendes Vianna Advogados. Mrs. Cardoso has relevant practice and a wide experience in Maritime Law, Energy, Tax and Customs, Corporate, Litigation and Arbitration. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), an LLM in Maritime Law, Marine Insurance, Carriage of Goods by Sea and International Law of Natural Resources from the London School of Economics, and Leadership in Law Firm Program from Harvard Law School. She is Vice-President of the Maritime and Port Law Committee of the Brazilian Center for Mediation and Arbitration (CBMA), member of the Academic Council of the Center for Brazil-China Studies at FGV Direito Rio, member of the International Law and Mediation, Conciliation and Arbitration Law Committees of the Brazilian Lawyers Institute (IAB), member of the Study Group on “Naval Finance for Security Practices” (naval finance) of the Committee Maritime International (CMI), member of the steering committee of the International Congress of Maritime Arbitration (ICMA), former President of the Brazil-Norway Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) between 2015-2016, member of the Maritime & Port Law Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ) and coordinator of the State Coordination of Brazil-China Relations of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ).

Luiz Augusto de Castro Neves: President of the Brazil-China Business Council (CEBC). He was Brazil's Ambassador to Japan, China, and Paraguay. At Itamaraty, he was Assistant Secretary General for Foreign Affairs and Director General for the Americas. He was president of CEBRI and is currently Vice President Emeritus of this Center. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Grupo Pão de Açúcar. He studied Economics at UFRJ and has a Master's degree in Economics from University College of the University of London.

Patrícia Sampaio: Patrícia Sampaio is a professor at FGV Direito Ri, and holds both Doctoral and Master's degrees from the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo (USP).

Henry’s practice areas include compliance with FCPA and Chinese anti-bribery law, anti-fraud investigations, data privacy and security, anti-monopoly law, establishing compliance management system, and dispute resolution. Henry is the author of the book of the Risk Management on Commercial Bribery in China and the Editor-in-Chief of The Compliance Reviews (www.compliance.reviews). Due to his achievements on compliance, Henry was invited to represent Chinese government to negotiate with other non-Chinese governments to draft ISO 19600 Compliance Management System – Guidelines and help draft Chinese national standard Compliance Management System – Guidelines.
Zhao Jianqiang: Chairman of China Three Gorges Brasil Energia Ltda. He studied Hydropower Construction at 西安 理工 大学 (Xi’an University of Technology) and Management Science and Engineering at 河海 大学 (Hohai University).
Francisco Queiroz Cavalcanti: Francisco de Queiroz Bezerra Cavalcanti, Master and Doctor in Law. Full Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Law of Recife (UFPE). Director of that college. Retired federal judge. Former TRF President of 5th. Region. Key areas: Administrative Law/ economic administrative aspect. Constitutional Law and Constitutional Economic Law. Author of more than 10 books and 40 articles and book chapters. Approached area in the UFPE Doctorate: Law of regulation and Inducing Tax Rules.

Sergio Quadros: Served as Manager of Banco do Brasil in Shanghai - China from 2008 to 2016, where he was responsible for the settling and opening of the first Banco do Brasil branch in that country. He was President the Brazil China Forum, informal association of Brazilian companies in China, from 2010 to 2016. He worked in the Agribusiness segment as financial VP and representative of the Chinese group Pengxin in Brazil. He got his MBA-C - Doing Business in China from Jiao Tong University - Shanghai - China. Quadros holds a Masters Degree in Management and Business from the University from Vale do Rio dos Sinos-Unisinos and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Poitiers - France. He is a guest professor of the MBA – International course – at Unisinos.

Song Xiaoyan: Director of the Law School at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Professor, Juris Doctor, major in International Economic Law. Elected in the fifth “Shanghai Outstanding Youth Jurist” in 2002. Since 2007, she has published five articles in core journals like law study, law, politics and law, and published six articles in other journals. She also published five books in Law Press, Shanghai People's Publishing House, which alone with two books, and edited with three books. She hosted one national project , and two provincial projects.
Yin Ying: Executive Partner at Guantao Law Firm (Shenzhen Branch). She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Xiangtan university School of Law and an LL.M. in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University School of Law. Ms. Yin worked in Shenzhen and Boston (U.S.) and worked for Hon Hai/Foxconn Technology Group (Global Legal Head Office) from 2004 to 2009, besides being admitted as a lawyer in China in 2010. Her key practice areas include cross-border transactions, asset securitization, M&A, banking and finance, private equity and venture capital.
Sergio Suchodolski: Sergio Gusmão Suchodolski is currently the President of both the Development Bank of Minas Gerais S/A - BDMG and of the Brazilian Development Association (ABDE). He is also Director of the Executive Committee of the Latin American Association of Financial Institutions for Development (ALIDE). He holds a bachelor's degree in law from USP, as well as master's degrees both in law from the Harvard Law School and in international trade, economics and political science from the Sciences Po-Institut d’ Études Politiques de Paris. He was the general director of Strategy and Partnerships at the New Development Bank, the BRICS bank. He also served as Chief of Staff of the Presidency of BNDES.
Carlos Ragazzo: Professor at FGV Direito Rio. Doctor and Master in Law from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro - UERJ; LLM from New York University - NYU. He was Counselor and Superintendent General of CADE.

Carrie (Shu) Shang: a renowned international dispute resolution expert and an Assistant Professor of Business Law at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She obtained her J.D. from University of Southern California School of Law, and her B.A./B.S. (with High Honors) from University of California, Berkeley. She is admitted to practice in New York (2013), Eastern District Court of New York (2021), California (2019), and the People’s Republic of China. She serves as an international arbitration counsel of the Los Angeles based law firm LTL Attorneys. She was the Chief Representative of Hong Kong International Arbitration Center Shanghai Office between 2017 and 2018. Professor Shang has published numerous works on peer-reviewed law journals concerning Belt and Road dispute resolution and was featured in the Arbitration Conversationand ArbTech Q&A series. She’s a the Co-Chair of Private International Law Group of the American Society of International Law (ASIL) and the committee member of the Silicon Valley Arbitration and Mediation Center (SVAMC).
Leonardo de Campos Melo: Lawyer with extensive experience in the resolution of legal, arbitration and administrative disputes, he was a partner for over 15 years in two of the largest litigation law firms in Brazil. He holds a Masters in Civil Law from UERJ and another one in International Arbitration (LLM) from American University (Washington, DC). He is author of books and articles, both in Brazil and abroad, on Arbitration and Civil Law. He was Professor of Arbitration at the Graduate Program at PUC-Rio for 10 years, and now he is an arbitrator in complex commercial disputes.
Natália Lamas: Partner with expertise in arbitration, contracts and civil and corporate litigation. Master 2 Professionnel (ancient DESS) in Droit du Commerce International from the Université Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne, in 2008. Master in International Law and Economic Integration from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), in 2007. Shen Yi: Professor at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) of Fudan University. Director of the Center for BRICS Studies of Fudan University. His research areas are emerging markets, network security, cyber diplomacy, cyber security strategy and international relations, among others. He is the author of the “U.S. National Cyber Security Strategy”. Lin Baihe: Alexandre Lin (林柏合) has 10+ years of professional experience, focusing on Chinese companies doing business in Brazil and Latin America. He is currently specialized in Connectivity, Data Center, Cloud & Network Fusion, ICT and IoT Business development at China Mobile International. Previously, he was part of other Telco and Tech companies such as China Unicom Global, Baidu and ZTE. Mr. Lin has a bachelor`s degree in Management from PUC and a Postgraduate Degree in the same area from Insper.

Before that, he acted in the entry and development of business of global technology giants of Chinese origin in Brazil, such as Xiaomi, where he was Head of E-commerce Latam, in addition to helping publicly traded companies and Brazilian unicorns to adopt Chinese business models. In is one of the most active entrepreneurs and professionals in the Brazilian e-commerce and entrepreneurship market, taking part in it since its beginning, when he was part of the Submarino startup team in 1999 and even founded his own startups, such as Baby.com.br, elected best startup of the year by PEGN magazine in 2011, among other projects.
