The Brazil–China Joint Meeting aims to strengthen collaborations between mathematicians from both countries. In recent decades, the fields of optimization and operations research have advanced rapidly in China and Brazil. To further explore new opportunities for collaboration in these areas, we are organizing this satellite conference as a platform for researchers from both countries to build stronger connections. In particular, we hope to encourage outstanding Chinese researchers and students to visit FGV and Brazil, fostering potential joint projects between FGV and leading Chinese institutions and universities.
